The 16th Contemporary Criminal Justice Forum and the 2nd Jingshi International Rule of Law Forum Successfully Conclude in Beijing

On August 18, 2025, in celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of Beijing Normal University’s law discipline and the 20th anniversary of the Criminal Legal Science Research Institute, the Faculty of Law and Criminal Legal Science Research Institute of Beijing Normal University co-hosted the 16th Contemporary Criminal Justice Forum and the 2nd Jingshi International Rule of Law Forum in Beijing. The forum focused on "The United Nations Convention against Cybercrime and China's Criminal Law Response," aiming to deeply explore strategies for China’s criminal legislation and judicial system to adapt to the implementation of the UN Convention against Cybercrime, thereby advancing China’s international rule of law construction. The event was held under the guidance of the China Criminal Law Society and supported by its International Criminal Law Branch, with co-organization by the Beijing Jingshi Law Firm and the National Criminal Law Practice Committee of Jingshi Law Firm.
